Weldex welcomes approaches from exceptional individuals with training and/or experience in engineering, in-service inspection, construction management, welding and materials engineering and/or nondestructive testing. We employ people with education and/or training in a wide variety of positions.

Our Engineering, Inspection and Construction Management Services department currently has opportunities for:

  • ENGINEERS: Professional engineers, with three or more years practical experience in engineering. Experience in pipeline assessments, repair and alteration is an asset.
  • CHIEF INSPECTORS: Certified with ten years minimum to API 510 (ipvi), 570 and/or 653, CWB, AWS and/or CSWIP, National Board.
  • CONSTRUCTION MANAGERS: Construction management training and/or equivalent five years minimum experience on intermediate and large-scale projects or fifteen or more years experience with commercial and/or industrial projects.
  • ENGINEERS-IN-TRAINING (EIT’s): Recent graduates from a university program currently seeking opportunities in the field of engineering. Experience in pipeline assessments is an asset.
  • ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGISTS: Graduates of a technical school or college program, especially those with experience/proficiency in replication (in-situ metallography) and/or material verification (field chemical analysis).
  • SENIOR INTEGRITY INSPECTORS: Certified to API 510 (ipvi), 570 and/or 653 five years plus.
  • SENIOR WELDING INSPECTORS: Certified to CWB, AWS and/or CSWIP, level II minimum, five years plus.

We also hire administration and technical professionals experienced in ACAD, Word, Upipe and report writing.
